What shocked me in a room full of AI geniuses...
Spoiler: even the people building AI don't know how to use it properly. And that's great news for you.

Hello Geneva,
This weekend, I experienced something wild.
I ended up locked in a room in Zurich with about thirty young entrepreneurs hand-picked by Entrepreneur First.
The kind of people who have "Machine Learning Engineer" on their résumé.
People who wrote their PhD theses on neural networks.
The brains literally building the AI models we all use every day.
The technical elite.
48 hours. Zero sleep (or close to it). One single goal: build a product from scratch.
And then...
Here's what SHOCKED me.
Despite all their talent, despite their impressive degrees, despite the fact that they LIVE in tech...
Most of them were NOT using AI optimally in their day-to-day workflow.
I watched people lose 3 hours on code that Claude would have solved in 15 minutes.
I watched founders type their prompts like they were firing off a text message.
(Quick aside: want to know the difference between a mediocre prompt and a killer one?
It's simple.
Mediocre prompt: "write me a sales email"
Killer prompt: "You are a copywriting expert in the style of Russell Brunson. Write me a sales email for my AI newsletter in Geneva. Audience: Swiss entrepreneurs and executives who want to stay up to date on AI but feel overwhelmed. Tone: conversational, reassuring, with concrete examples. Length: 300 words max."
See the difference? Context + Role + Target audience + Desired tone = 10x better results.
End of aside.)
I watched AI engineers... not know how to use AI. 🤯
Here's why I'm telling you this:
If right now you're thinking:
"Ugh, I'm behind on AI..."
"My competitors must have it all figured out already..."
"I should be further along than this..."
STOP.
Even the people building AI don't necessarily know how to use it properly.
Even the "experts" miss 80% of its potential.
The simple fact that you're reading this right now puts you AHEAD of most of the market.
Yes, even in Zurich.
Yes, even in tech.
Yes, really.
The good news?
Being "optimal" with AI doesn't take a PhD.
Just the right techniques. The right reflexes. The right tools.
And that can be learned. Fast.
So take a deep breath. You're not behind.
You're just in the right place, at the right time, reading the right newsletter. 😉
